ALABAMA ARISE ANNUAL MEETING

Consider joining a delegation of BCOC members to Alabama Arise’s Annual Meeting, which will take place in Montgomery.

Alabama Arise is a non-partisan statewide, member-led organization advancing public policies to improve the lives of Alabamians who are marginalized by poverty. AL Arise will hold its Annual Meeting on September 28 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Legacy Museum Annex in Montgomery.

The purpose of the Annual Meeting is for individual members and member organizations to present or hear proposals for AL Arise’s advocacy priorities for the upcoming legislative year. As a member organization, BCOC may designate up to six representatives to cast seven votes each, and these representatives must be designated by September 20.

If you would like to serve as a BCOC representative, whether in-person or online, please notify Eric Clark via email by September 16.

Carpooling to and from the Annual meeting will be organized once the roster of in-person attendees is settled.
