We hunger for love that is real and brave.
This Lent and Easter season, we will journey through love stories told by John, following Jesus as he confronts despair with truth, hope, and a love that refuses to let fear and hatred win.

Lenten Mission Project
Bread for the World, Grace for All

As Christians, we are called to seek justice, care for those experiencing hunger and poverty, and embrace our Creator’s vision of hope, love, and peace. We are called to embody it in public as we commit to live in solidarity with those who are made vulnerable by the inequities that drive hunger and poverty in the United States and around the world.
One in ten people around the world go to bed hungry each night. One in four children under five are severely malnourished. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Every voice matters. With your help, we can reach the people with the power and resources to make hunger a problem of the past.
During worship on Palm Sunday, March 24, we will offer our letters to our leaders in Washington, D.C. to pass legislative victories that reduce hunger in the U.S. and around the world. Starting March 3 through the weeks leading up to our offering, we will learn more about the issues of hunger and how we can advocate for those affected by hunger from members of our congregation during worship and coffee fellowship.
